Ashington Workspace is one of our two centres in Ashington, conveniently located within easy reach of the town centre and the region’s main road networks (A189, A19, A1). The centre is a modern two storey building, offering a range of office spaces, from 13 sq m to 130 sq m, together with a full range of telephone and internet services. We also provide virtual office services and have 3 meeting rooms on site. There is free car parking, including electric vehicle charging points.

Internet & Telephones

Internet Access  

We provide a synchronous, fibre connection and access to our standard shared service is included within your monthly rental fee. You can also pay to upgrade to a higher service level as follows:

  • Shared service, capped at 2Mb (included within rent)
  • Shared service, capped at 5Mb £25
  • Shared service, capped at 10Mb £55
  • Dedicated 1Mb £50 per month
  • Dedicated 2Mb £65 per month
  • Dedicated 5Mb £125 per month

Telephones     

We can provide you with a high quality telephone service, including: voicemail, call transfer and call forwarding facilities. We offer professional phone services for the following monthly costs:

  • Telephone extension -  £12.50 per month
  • Additional extension/s - £5 per extension      

Call charges apply: 2ppm UK Landlines and 10ppm for calls to mobiles.

Set-up costs

There is a one off set-up fee to configure your ICT connections. Where this can be done remotely by our ICT team, the standard set up cost is £25. If an engineer is needed on-site, our configuration costs start at £75.

Extras

We can provide a static IP address for £5 per month per address.

System Requirements

Please note that it is not possible to install your own hard wired telephone systems or internet connections at the centre (e.g. BT, Virgin connections). If you wish to install an IP telephone system, this is permitted, but a dedicated internet connection must be purchased. It is not possible to install voice applications on the shared internet service. If you have any other bespoke applications for your business, please discuss these with us so we can advise whether they can be run on the shared service of if a dedicated connection will be required.

Please note that all charges quoted are subject to VAT at the standard rate as applicable. Internet and telephone fixed charges are billed monthly, in advance. Call charges are billed quarterly in arrears.
