Over the past 3 years the Investments team has played a pivotal role in increasing the property assets of the business from £37.3 million to £115 million and turnover which has gone from £5.3 million to £8.6 million in 2014/15. Building on this success we are seeking to increase these assets to over £250 million over the next 3 years. This dramatic increase has been achieved mostly through commercial/market acquistions, the purchase of Northumberland County Council's commercial portfolio and capital growth programme.
It is recognised that the ambition and scale of the Arch Investment programme must also increase. To achieve this we are working on a programme of expansion across a number of sectors to make Arch one of the larger property investors in the North East, supporting our goals in regeneration and development, providing quality homes to let and commercial premises for local businesses.
Our knowledge and understanding of the Northumberland property market is unmatched and we have already demonstrated our ability to turn around under-performing assets. By adopting a long-term perspective, taking informed risks and looking after customers we will demonstrate our commitment to Northumberland.
