Cambois

The RWE npower site is located at Cambois near to the north shore of the River Blyth Estuary and is approximately 3km north of Blyth town centre and National Renewable Energy Centre (Narec). The site is currently vacant but has historically housed coal-stocking yards, associated with a coal-fired power station. This brownfield site is approximately 95ha in size.

Commissioners Quay

Size of site: 2.08ha
Incentives: Enterprise Zone Status

Commissioners Quay development is a brownfield site located on the waterfront of Blyth Harbour and covers an area of approximately 2.08ha. The site is next to Blyth town centre and its bus interchange.

Dun Cow Quay

Size of site: 0.38ha
Incentives: Enterprise Zone Status

Dun Cow Quay is an L-shaped brownfield site, approximately 0.38ha in size. The site is located next to the entrance of the National Renewable Energy Centre (Narec) on the waterfront of Blyth Harbour and immediately adjacent to Blyth Town Centre and bus interchange.

East Sleekburn

Size of site: 36ha
Incentives: Enterprise Zone Status

This site is located at Cambois near to the north shore of the River Blyth Estuary and is approximately 3km north of Blyth town centre and the National Renewable Energy Centre (Narec). The site is currently vacant but has historically housed a coal-fired power station.

Sleekburn

Size of site: 35ha

The Sleekburn strategic site is located near the north shore of the River Blyth Estuary and is approximately 4km north of Blyth town centre and the National Renewable Energy Centre (Narec). The site is approximately 35ha in size and is currently in agricultural and commercial use.

South Harbour

Size of site: 20ha

The South Harbour strategic site is located on the south shore of the River Blyth Estuary and is just to the south of Blyth town centre. The site is approximately 20 hectares in size and is currently in use as Port operational land.
