Local people are being encouraged to take a look at plans for a proposed development of brand new homes in Seaton Delaval. The plans will be on display on Thursday 13th December 2012 at Seaton Delaval Arts Centre from 2pm to 7pm.
Arch is investing £2.5m in the development of 29 new homes on the former Seaton Delaval Council offices site. The purpose-built properties will be available to rent and range in size from 1 bedroom apartments to 2 and 3 bedroom houses.
The display will include the site plans and details of proposed house types. Representatives from Arch and the design team will be on-hand to explain more about the design concepts.
Peter McIntyre, Arch Group Managing Director said: The demand for quality, low-cost rented properties in Northumberland is currently exceeding the current market supply. The new homes will be our first major investment in developing a new rental housing offer in the county. Our aim is to offer a high-quality range of homes and the Seaton Delaval development will add an exciting new dimension to our existing portfolio of 700 homes in Northumberland.
Arch has appointed a team of design and construction partners for the project. Plan B is a consortium made up of the Elliott Associates and Ian Darby Partnership, supported by Shadbolt Consulting.
