The Ashington Investment Plan is an ambitious ten-year programme that will see up to £74 million invested in regeneration and redevelopment, bringing over 1,000 high-quality jobs to the heart of Ashington and transforming the town centre economy.
Arch will work on behalf of Northumberland County Council to create a healthier and more prosperous Ashington and attract public and private sector investment in regeneration.
The plan sets out Arch’s proposals to redevelop the North East Quarter of the town centre, expand and improve housing and help vital local community institutions to become more sustainable. Based in Ashington Workspace, Arch is an arms-length company set up and wholly owned by Northumberland County Council and works to make a real difference to Northumberland’s economic prosperity.
